Michael Klassen football camp brings CFL players to Olds

On May 6th and 7th, kids 10-15 years of age, from Olds and the surrounding area, attended a football camp held by the Olds Amateur Football Association. Teaching at the camp were current CFL players Michael Klassen (Montreal Alouettes) and Kirby Fabien (B.C Lions), as well as coach Blake Machan, coach Carl Haubrich and OAFA president Doug Reiberger.

This is the third year Michael Klassen has returned to teach at the camp, and kids spend two days learning a broad range of football skills, as well as hearing about the life of a professional athlete and the importance of other life skills, like work ethic and discipline.
